CYLINDER HEAD, VALVES & GUIDES
The original TB TC XPAG cylinder head had “oval” water holes in the face and used 1/2“ reach spark plugs. To obtain more performance from your XPAG engine for fast road or competition use we can offer a fully gas flowed and polished head with modified inlet ports and combustion chamber in addition to the fitting of the hard inlet valve seats. It is usual to fit the larger size valves when modifying a cylinder head. As the work is done to order only, either size valves can be used. Bronze valve guides can be fitted if the engine is to be used for competition purposes.
ROCKER GEAR
The TB TC were fitted with shorter bosses on the straight rockers 1, 4, 5, & 8. The longer rocker shaft was fitted to the later type angle rockers
